I was feeling shit yesterday, but there was one positive thing (well three actually but two of them were football results). The other was the arrival of my new wig to successfully channel my inner Sharron to make me feel better. I bloody love that woman have I mentioned that before?

To paraphrase @mrjamesob.bsky.social The US is going to be the second country in the world to voluntarily impose economic sanctions upon itself

I Am Incorrigible@imincorrigible.bsky.social

Trump just signed an EO stripping Canadian goods from US federal procurement. A country that supplies 63% of America's crude oil imports, nearly all its natural gas, its aluminum, uranium and steel. This isn't the US being tough. It's self-harm. 🧵 #r4today

While Piddington dominates the news, at Leicester Crown Court this man was sentenced today Ivan Jennings, a former Conservative councillor, called for terror attacks on small boat migrants and Muslims and shared target ideas, telling fellow white supremacists to kill as many “subhumans” as possible

The problem is, every time something good happens (search as my last post for example) I end up feeling really low for days afterwards, leading to several cases of spontaneous lacrimation

Sometimes I wish I was a bit less emotional.

Some photos from my brother’s wedding at the weekend, I can’t post any of him or my lovely sister-in-law yet, but here I am with a special guest who looked absolutely fabulous.

Jeremy Clarkson has said that benefits claimants should be forced to write a letter to a taxpayer every week, thanking them for all their hard work that allows us to receive the money we need, so I did. Unfortunately I don't think the entire text will fit in alt text, but this is an email to my dad.

Good morning you lovely lot! I hope you're all ok. I'm not too bad, although it's a bit chilly this morning. I hope you will have a lovely one, and if you're not feeling particularly happy today, remember that you are still awesome, even if you don't always feel like it

"If Elon Musk has taught us anything, it's that you can make immense amounts of money and still be a complete prat." @mrjamesob.bsky.social doesn't hold back on Jim Ratcliffe...

Good afternoon lovely people I hope you're all well. I'm pleased to report that my serotonin levels appear to be returning to normal after horrendously crashing in the wake of the major twofold high of going to see Florence and her majestic machine with the utterly fabulous Pink One.

I have no interest in American football, but I would stay up to watch this performance if ever happened.

The Times anonymously asked NFL players who their dream halftime performer would be and one of the defensive lines said “Florence and the Machine, but I don’t know if everybody would rock with that.” Make yourself know sir, pick up your baddie chain on your way to the tour.

Lovely people, if you are fans of theirs, please do tell me your favourite #Florence+TheMachine songs? I just thought it would be interesting to get a variety of opinions.

No matter how far apart we live or how few times we manage to meet in person, she will always and forever be ma bestie. Now forgive me, I know I'm a fully grown man, (although having said that I'm actually rather little) but I'm gonna have to go and have a proper ugly cry now. 💗💗💗 4

The point at which I nearly completely lost it in terms of emotional stability last night wasn't when I was belting out the lyrics to 'Shake it out'. "Spectrum', 'Dog Days Are Over' or even "Free". It was "Never Let Me Go" ... 2

Advice please lovely people, I’m seriously considering binning off Twitter entirely, I just feel so attached to everything I’ve built there after nine years and two months. It’s just full of toxicity and not in anyway enjoyable.

YouTube decided to recommend Advance UK Wales to me as a channel I may be interested in. I quickly clicked on the button labelled 'do not recommend this channel'. So hopefully I will never hear from the fuckers again. At least, not on YouTube

Yes, I am indeed going with the person you think I'm going with. (Unless of course you don't know me from any other platforms, in which case you probably wouldn't have a clue)

I haven't mentioned it on here yet, so some of you might not know, but I'm very excited because in one month, I'll be going to see Florence and the Machine which will be my first concert. Not only that, but I'm going with one of the most awesome people in the world.

That should say I really don't need passive aggressive bullshit!

Joe Hardy@blokeonwheels.bsky.social

I really doubt – passive-aggressive bullshit, I am only not reading the emails because I have got the Act which already tells me everything I need to know. Just remember if they choose to cut down more trees, it will be their decision.

Hello you lovely lot! I hope you had a fabulous time over the last few days, whether that be having fun or just relaxing whether you did or you didn't, I'm sending much love to you all. xxx

This morning, I was officially told by a consultant that I don't have cancer. I don't think I've ever been more relieved in my life. If you have a dodgy mole , anywhere at all on your body, go and get it looked at!

For context, I know that Labour are in government now, and I'm livid with them over the proposed changes, but the Tories want to do even more cuts! In this post is in reference to a post from the Tories and their leader that was incredibly disparaging towards social security claimants.

Hi @conservatives.bsky.social @kemibadenochmp.bsky.social . Just so you know, I didn't choose to be born prematurely, I didn't choose to have to rely on others to do the most basic of tasks for me, such as getting me in and out of bed, washing, dressing, teeth cleaning, ...1

It is a truly disgusting accusation, and the fact that you think that such an implication is acceptable in 2025 shows just how far we have fallen as a society in the last decade and 1/2, for the vast majority of which, your party was in power and did nothing but spew ...3

horrible rhetoric in a similar vein to what you're doing now. It seems you are determined to never learn that disabled people are not responsible for the fact that your party screwed the economy and it's definitely not our job to help fix it. 4

toileting and all my cooking, to name only a small fraction. It's not my fault I can't stand either aided or unaided, and it's not my fault I can't work. How dare you call me or any other disabled person a 'taker' and imply about we are all somehow 'choosing' not to work....2

Feeling rather relieved today, for the first time in 3 days, I woke up without the horrible headache, which meant I didn't have to waste 4 hours in bed! It might not seem like a major thing but it's just nice not to feel like shit!

One of the benefits of social media is that it allows me as a fairly introverted person to have wonderful friendships while not being under loads of social pressure or having to worry if my words are gonna get stuck in my gob when I try to talk to people.
