The last 24 hours have shown what many have said for a long time. Britain's role as an accomplice to Trump's America must end. We must urgently decouple from a rogue US & seek security with allies closer to home. That starts with suspension of the US bombers on British soil.

Labour and Tory MPs want new drilling in the North Sea whilst we face a growing climate, energy and cost of living crisis. Approving new oil and gas licenses won’t take a penny off our bills and will fuel the climate crisis. New oil & gas is not the answer. Clean green energy is.

Warnings from the World Meteorological Organisation and the International Energy Agency show a growing climate and energy crisis driven by fossil fuel dependence. The government must reject the misinformation from Reform and the Conservatives and accelerate the shift to homegrown renewable energy.

Israel's recent attacks on Lebanon have killed over 1,000 people - including 118 children and 40 medical workers. Bombing has destroyed civilian structures such as apartment buildings and bridges, and over a million people have been displaced. Halt arms sales. End the impunity.

This is no time for half-measures. Protect families from the energy price hike. Paid for by: A tighter oil & gas windfall tax. Taxing income from wealth the same as from work. And double down on renewables and energy efficiency to protect us from future shocks.

The Green MPs and Peers have written to Keir Starmer to urge for an end to the UK's involvement in the US and Israel's illegal war. Under international law, the UK is obliged to have no involvement in illegal military action, including the use of UK bases and UK-made weapons.
