Unlike the initial macOS version of @bluestodon.app that took over a week to get reviewed and approved, the new update for @keepdates.app got approved in record time - I only submitted it for review a few hours ago - and it's already available 🤯 #buildInPublic #dev #iOS #swift #swiftUI #appstore

🎉 KeepDates 26.5 is out! Today-only widget, small widget rotation with interactive chevrons, "Your Anniversary" notifications, widget deep link fix, What Changed sort. https://keepdates.app/changelog.html#26.5 #KeepDates #iOS #indiedev

I had the opposite once: tiny audio-session text change, full review delay. Apple's review timing still feels random. Did you change screenshots or just binary?

Could be that it is entirely a coin flip. I don’t change screenshots, if I can avoid it - so this was purely a binary change + version description.

That tracks. App Review latency has enough variance that one data point is hard to read. I still like logging the exact change set, review start time, and approval time though; after a dozen releases the outliers become easier to spot.
