So I initially build @keepdates.app to just read the data already there - that should be fine, right? I soon discovered, that that is not the case - and when users would open up the app and grant access to contacts, they'd still be greeted with an empty screen and not knowing what to do. (2/4)

The latest update fixes that - it adds the ability to quickly and easily add any type of date to any contact - updating the phone's contact book with the data and keep everything flowing from there. Now the app can be useful to everyone, even if their contacts aren't already maintained. (3/4)

As a bonus- it adds a nice overview page for each contact, with a list of all the contact’s dates and per-contact customization controls. 🎛️ Also uses the dominant color from the avatar for tinting the screen background ☺️ #BuildInPublic #Dev #IndieDev #iOS #iOSDev #Swift #SwiftUI #App #AppDev
