When I clicked like it briefly went up to 21 then down to 20. I did that a few more times to see whether it was just an optimistic UI update gone wrong… and now it’s on 14 (across refreshes). I’m sorry 😔

I wrote a bit on how it works here to share with everyone. And yeah most likely cache side 🫠. I did see the initial round of bug fixes I did got merged about 30mins after the bug was mention. So maybe that got it ? bsky.app/profile/bail...

Thought I'd talk a bit about npmx likes and how they work. - They are on atproto - The source of truth is from constellation 🌌. We get the total distinct did count, and if you have liked it - Likes are cached server side for 5 mins. - Uses the package url as the key to the record.
