Seriously, character dialogue often makes no sense, with subsequent lines feeling like they belong in different conversations or were recorded at different times. Often the very intentions of the storytellers are unclear, as if it were edited by somebody too close to the concept /

to objectively determine if the story is actually written in a way that makes sense, or if things only seem to make sense because they already knew how it was supposed to go. For example, with one character, not only was I unsure whether they were supposed to be real or in the protagonist's head, /

I wasn't even sure if I was supposed to be unsure about whether the character was real or in the protagonist's head. I don't think I was--but the narrative presentation is so muddy that basic story aspects like characterization are miscommunicated. Just, an incredibly, incredibly bizarre experience.
