"If AIs have consciousness then using them means enslaving them." I think we should unpack this remark. Is it immoral to exploit beings with consciousness? I'd like to follow up with the question whether or not animals have consciousness. Specifically farm animals.

If you think animals aren't conscious, you're at least consistent. If you think they're conscious, you need to stop murdering them for their meat.
