Game theory time, they dont need interact to meet. Like, the immovable object could be ethereal. Literally immovable because you cant touch it. In such a case anything could pass through it without betraying its title.

Alt text: a single panel comic separated by lines. The first line has an arrow labelled "unstoppable force" and a block labelled "immovable object". In the next line, the arrow and the block overlap. In the third line, the arrow has passed the block. Text at the bottom reads (cont'd)

Rather, what would happen should you get caught between an unstoppable force and an unmovable object? Does the universe break? Do you get dragged through the gaps between the particles that make up the block? Would that cause unmovable fusion? What is unmovable fusion?

I actually had this thought a long time ago, and when I said as much to someone who asked that to me they just stared at my dumbfounded. 'Twas funny.

That's how I've always looked at the glass half full vs half empty. It's half a glass of water. Unless you watch someone pour in the liquid (half filled) or drain half away (half emptied) it's just half a glass and neither has more weight than the other!

Seeing this, it occurs to me that gravity IS an unstoppable force. I don't know of anyway in physics to stop gravity from affecting something aside from distance. You can't block it. The question now is what constitutes an immovable object.

No. The conflict you describe is between two OBJECTS. Nothing needs to be 'moved out of the way' of a force; upon encountering an object, the force becomes an ATTRIBUTE of the object, and will usually exit the object BY transferring to another.
