I don't follow basketball, women's or men's, but I'm glad for her & women's basketball. It seems the be the one womens sport that is really breaking through. Hopefully Hockey, football (soccer) and other women's sports will get the same level of engagement.

This is random but I am so happy she plays with glasses. I don't use contacts so my glasses have practically become apart of my body. Its nice to see someone rock glasses so much.

Kareem, Kurt Rambis,& James Worthy all were sporting the goggles when they played Who could forget Wild Thing from Major League? In the sequel when he goes back to the glasses, he throws heat As someone who wore goggles for indoor soccer (rec) I too look for the players who wear glasses/goggles

For the same reason the second highest grossing sports league in the country, the NBA, decided to put corporate logos on their jerseys years ago I suppose. The NBA makes enough money to share with the WNBA so neither would have to do that, but they care more about money.

Worst part of professional soccer. The jerseys look like F1 and NASCAR cars. Also noticed the “ESPN Draft Kings Stat Board” or whatever they called it. 🤢

She also stepped in right away as starting point guard for the Lynx, and played like a veteran with and against very talented, seasoned players. Besides ROY, she was mentioned as a possible league MVP candidate. Congrats and well-done, Liv!
