I need to stay off of LinkedIn y'all. The amount of borderline web development hype-driven disinformation is getting ridiculous. I'm going to lose it if I see one more AI-generated comparison image of how the React `use` API CHANGES DATA FETCHING FOREVERRRR (no disrespect to the use API)

a few random examples: cool cool laravel! wait what am i looking at I love Node but... really? We're advertising Node, a javascript runtime, for "realtime" "high-concurency" workloads?

alright this one is off topic but i mean come on lmao "Frontend is dead! Go learn UI/UX!" yes, UI/UX, which by the way has no overlap with FE development

Having started learning Go, Node's implementation of concurrency is sad to say the least. However, WASM threads are very exciting improvements that I wouldn't discount.

It's less that Node strictly can't do concurrency, but it's far from what it's known for. Especially compared to yeah, Go, or even like idk Erlang/Elixir/Gleam/anything on the BEAM. My frustration is at this linkedin slop appearing everywhere.
