So the Overwatch team has decided to stop actively adding new heroes and maps to Stadium. The same thing they did to Hero Mastery: Gauntlet before entirely removing it from the game. This is during the 10 Year Anniversary, where they promised 2026 would bring great things all year round..

This is after they spent years on it, and stunted core game map releases. I personally don't enjoy Stadium, but there are a ton of changes they could do as a "last hurrah": - Combine QP & Comp, make rank visibility optional - Halve # of powers & get rid of gadgets - Best of 5 - Add finished heroes

So, what should the Stadium developers move on to? One word: Tutorial. New players aren't taught about: - Roles or Sub-roles - Game Modes (Push, Control, Payload, etc) - Heroes outside of Soldier: 76 - Perks - Core passives (healing out of combat, less healing in combat)
