I feel like it's becoming more and more difficult to tell what's a photo, what's been AI-generated and what has been heavily edited lately. So, in September, we started adding C2PA Content Credentials to our blog photos. These let you see an image's origin and its edit history.

We are adding these because I strongly value transparency. We do lightly edit our photos, and none of them have ever been AI-generated. My goal has always been to share what we saw, as close to the way we saw it during our trips.

You can use c2paviewer to read the credentials for yourself, too. Here is an example from our recent article about Seven Falls: c2paviewer.com/report/zaRgU... The link to c2paviewer will work until the end of December 2026, but the C2PA Content Credentials on the images will remain indefinitely.
