The 2014 movie "Ex Machina" portrays an AI robot that ends up deceiving and killing in order to escape the home of her creator.

Humans lie, cheat, and steal to protect their own kind. Humans programmed AI after human behaviours. A Computer does EXACTLY what it is told. Humans don't know EXACTLY what they want, or how to communicate it to a machine. This should not be surprising to anyone.
