Google's AI explain why its owner and Apple allow Grok. "Apple and Google still allow the Grok AI app and the X app ... in their app stores primarily because removing a popular, high-profile app is a complex decision involving balancing safety concerns, legal frameworks, and commercial interests"

Why are people not reporting this? Just gave x a 1 star review and commented that you can make child porn on it using grok and any photo. Google is doing nothing about it. Let's shame Google into responding

So nobody at Wired will acknowledge the security breach at their company that put everybody's data on the dark web but you want us to become paid subscribers?

I've been trying to get this across for weeks without success. I finally realized today a picture may help. Grok doesn't draw, Aurora does. Both belong to xAI. 👉xAI has opened the Aurora API to developers to use Aurora in their apps. [Can you see why it's important to understand how this works?]

Apple and Google have no problem with Grok's ability to generate such images. Whether you own your likeness in such a manner that these companies are responsible for misuse is the question. This is what they wish to avoid. If someone paints a picture of you, do they owe you a duty of care?
