SCOOP: 'Big Balls' has officially left the building. 19-year-old technologist Edward Coristine, a key operative in Elon Musk's so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) who's gone by the name "Big Balls" online, has resigned, the White House tells WIRED.

As of Tuesday, his Google Suite account with the General Services Administration (GSA) was no longer active, according to a source with direct knowledge. His name also no longer appears on a White House contact list of current DOGE employees on the federal payroll, an official says.

Let's rewind. Remember in February when WIRED learned the teen owned ‘Tesla.Sexy LLC’ and worked at startup that has hired convicted hackers? At the time, experts questioned if he would pass the background check typically required for access to sensitive US government systems.

Coristine received full-time employment status at the GSA late last month, as reported by WIRED. Earlier in May, he appeared to be attending regular meetings with departments and agencies, including a May 5 meeting with the Commerce Department to discuss Trump’s golden Visa.

In a few months, Musk’s loyalists at DOGE have infiltrated dozens of federal agencies, pushed out tens of thousands of workers, and siphoned millions of people’s most sensitive data. The next step was to unleash the AI. A reminder of what has happened:

Coristine, another former DOGE member tells WIRED, was one of a small group of technologists who were highly trusted and given multiple federal laptops. "It was almost like a competition in the sense to have seven, eight different laptops that they would run around with." Now, he's gone. Scoop:

In all seriousness he needs to be monitored and audited for the rest of his life Imagine what data he copied out to the cloud or his own data storage for sale to domestic and foreign entities Why wouldn't North Korea, Russia or China kidnap and torture him for remote access or threaten family etc?

If Meglomusk cheated overtly to sway votes towards the felon, he used a hacker of two. These he would send into investigative agencies in DC to erase traces of evidence while the top officials were fired. Big balls would be one of the top hackers likely to have participated-lot's of crypto I'm sure.
