Is the part that wasn’t mentioned in Tesla’s investor update—the growing global backlash tied to Elon Musk’s political ties. This has led to a boycott of Tesla’s cars and mass protests across North America and Europe. 🔗 www.wired.com/story/tesla-...

Shocking to see how gullible Wall Street dollars are. Tesla stock up massively since publishing the awful quarterly results, and the primary investor logic seems to be that Musk will solve everything by spending more time on Tesla. News flash, morons: those customers you lost aren't coming back.

He even said he’s still going to spend 40% of his work week on DOGE. That means the rest of the time will be split between all the rest of the companies. Sorry…Dad can’t play with you today Tesla…he’s taking Starlink out for ice cream. Don’t even think about him spending time w/ his REAL kids.

Funniest thing about the robotaxi model is that not only is Tesla incapable of solving this problem in the timeline that Musk has given, but it's not even a business that is guaranteed to be profitable. An internal review suggested that it would be a loss-maker (as reported by electrek 4/17)

so he thinks he's banking goodwill he hasn't built with state/local officials for Tesla's janky camera FAD to jump the queue ahead of Waymo and it's 25M miles of tested FAD with sophisticated sensory tech ... all in the next 12 months? He might actually get to Mars BEFORE that ever happens.

Tesla can build first-rate cars—I'm on my second Model S. It's my understanding that Musk had little to do with the actual designs until the Cybertruck, which is crap. If he had anything to do with the design of the Cybercab, it'll probably be crap.

Where are they testing this Tesla cab? Rivals have been testing for many months, years even, on the roads of Austin, TX. Tesla self driving cars have not been seen there, or are very scarce.
