This is the only thing I enjoy about DST It’s so funny to me how hardwired my dogs are, the accuracy of their internal clock is *impressive* The flip-side is just as bad. We now get woken up at 5:30am for breakfast…

Lil is in sympathy with Reg', when it changed down here her stomach thought her throat had been cut......... 'here Dad, have this cold shoulder, and have 3 more just like it'.

My rabbits are distraught. No dinner last night and late breakfast today! (They have hay at all times and that’s all they need, they don’t actually need pellets for dinner and our boy is on a diet)

I keep my pets on the same schedule all year round. I always calculate the time on the clock vs. the time the animals know it really is. You must side with nature every time.

I remember explaining the time change to my girl. She said, "f*ck that sh*t". Feed me NOW. 💙🐾💙🐾💙🐾💙 hope your baby makes it an extra hour. Maybe some treats to tie over ...

lordy lordy thats why they invented treats! to prevent dogs from wasting away & starving to death after DST. give the boy a treeeeeeeeeat!!! “This is Reggie. He was just told about daylight savings time. More like daylight starving time. 13/10 “

That's why you have to be progressive. Something like one week before the daylight savings day, you start shifting all your habits 10 minutes forwards or backwards. The next day, 10 more minutes, and more and more until you catch up on the actual time.

My bad. I made my little one wait an extra hour because I had to make gravy. She had to take her flea pill and she will not eat the chewy so I shred it in her food and hide it with gravy. She was so hungry she didn't spit anything out. Guess I should have planned it better but...she survived.
