This Sunkanmi dude is really good at explaining CSS concepts and this View Transitions Fallback article seems like a good topic to look into. I better read it. Oh, wait... that's me!! 🫢🤗 Make sure to check out my entry on view transitions. More to definitely come!! 😊 #css

Hi 👋 View transitions are always fun. Thank you for sharing! If this was not meant as a feature, you might look into the blue background that shifts to white during the transition?

Thanks for pointing that out, but it's a feature. On the Home page, if you inspect it, you'll notice that ::view-transition-old() uses the * variable, while other pages use view transition names, hence, the white flash. But, I'll correct it since it's definitely weird. Thank you!!

Appreciate you taking the time, and thanks in advance for adjusting it! I‘m sure your article will be a motivation for many developers.

You might not notice this in local development, but for me the transitions only work reliably when navigating through the browser history. When clicking links directly, they sometimes don’t appear.
