🚀 The latest VS Code release makes it easier to manage agent sessions, control agent access, and work faster in the editor. 🧵 Here’s what’s new: code.visualstudio.com/updates/v1_141

🧹 Reclaim disk space from inactive agent sessions. Run Chat: Open Worktree Cleanup to review worktree sizes, remove worktrees you no longer need, or configure automatic cleanup after pull requests merge.

🔒 Control what agents can access while they work. Agent sandboxing limits access to files and network resources, helping protect your work across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

🤖 Compare and monitor multiple agent sessions side by side. Drag sessions into horizontal or vertical splits in the Agents window, resize the panes, and maximize one when you need to focus.

🔄 Continue local Copilot and Codex conversations in VS Code without losing context. Pick up conversations started in the Copilot CLI, GitHub Copilot app, ChatGPT app, or Codex CLI and continue them in the Agents window with your conversation history intact.

📄 Paste columnar text across successive lines from a single cursor. Set editor multiCursorPaste to spread, then paste a copied block to distribute its rows across successive lines.
