Posting this cuz I think it's so damn weird/interesting that the guy who invented THE sexy rapey monsterguy of the Silent Hill franchise says "I didn't mean it like that" about his famous scene. Sometimes you can be a little "uh huh... sure dude" at creators (video is still at 99k views 👀 hrnnnghh)

It is just very funny/flummoxing to imagine Ito drawing the line THERE and being like "it's not MEANT to be sex, you're imagining that, okay?!" While also, like, this exists, yknow? Totally unrelated youtu.be/vKAzoXUC-vM?...

Yeah like, this is such a weak 'gotcha'. Plenty of things aren't 'intended', and yet! I can think of SO many examples of absolutely racist ass things in media, and crew going '🫣 oh nooo we didnt intend that!!!' Doesnt change anything! Author's intent falls in the face of the audience reaction.

Also, for a series that is so sympathetic to women: thats kind a worse answer! Wtf do you mean you didnt intend it to look like SA? That fuck??? Look at your work, dawg!!!
