This is a strawman from Dominato; no one at Vision Zero wants to abolish roads. But we're curious to know, when she says "we have to strike a balance", what's her acceptable number of deaths on our roads?

30kmh speeds would also not interfere with the movement of vehicles and goods - I imagine it would improve it.
