Its aight, I live in a place where my presence is a liability. I'm basically a walking target, and with that target, others who are already vulnerable cannot associate with me without also being a target. I know it seems clinical, it was my dream job tbh. Very much not over it but I understand it.

that's a horrible, horrible way to have to think about oneself. and it is not at all an acceptable reason to fire a trans woman. i hope you're never put in that position again, you deserve so much better than to be treated as a risk calculation
