Microsoft may well no longer consider their gaming side all that important to their business, in the face of going all in on AI and the sheer profit they've always made from enterprise software and supporting said software. XBox is a software platform now, the hardware is almost vestigial.

Who cares. Nobody buys these boxes anyways.
