The happiness of this girl after discovering that her dog, whom she had been trying to teach sign language for some time, has finally begun to understand her. :)

Oh, that makes so much sense. I used to work as an Early Childhood Educator and I used very simple sign language with prevocal children who can understand very well, but just can't communicate back. Also used it for my dogs, which worked very well. Cats? Not so much, as in - not at all!

My son used to have a deaf stunt horse. Hand signals and a good rider made him popular movie horse because he wasn’t bothered by helicopters, loud noises, and all the other distractions on a film set. His dogs follow hand signals, too. A useful skill for owner & dog.

Charlie (the deaf horse) is in the center of this picture. The helicopter doesn’t bother him. He’s also great for scenes where there is gunfire, loud battle scenes, and horseback sword fights. My son is Charlie’s rider here. Both my son & Charlie are now retired from stunt work.

Dogs are the most amazing creatures on the planet. There is no other that can do what these beautiful canines can: protect, rescue, guide, herd, perform, fetch, dance, be clowns and truly love their human companions.

Oh yes you were first in mind when I saw it, immediately I thought you might wanna light up your day with some more happiness. I love them so smart and ready
