I'm looking to buy a new MacBook so I can upgrade to Golden Gate for Safari testing, and I keep seeing old 12-inch MacBooks. The really awful ones. They bother me every time I see them, so I've taken the time to complain. I'm only a decade late to the discourse. vale.rocks/micros/20261...

Ugliest Mac ever? No, that would be the eMac!

absolute loved that size, was my 'main driver' for a couple of years. Would snap up a 12" MBP tomorrow.

What are you even talking about? Heresy! The eMac is a work of art compared to the 12-inch Macbook. The early MacBook Pros are the only other Apple laptops to rival the 12-inch MacBook's ugliness.

Early MacBook Pros or PowerBooks? I just hope you're not talking about this beauty!

The PowerBook G4 and iBook G3 aren't perfect, but they get away with it. However, something went seriously wrong with that design when they tried to apply it for the early MacBook Pros. Just hideously clunky looking eyesores. Probably because they are really clunky.
