that plus I think they are very likely looking at your name, email domain(s), etc. to build psychographic profiles and system prompts around. ultimately, i think the goal is to make it feel like an extension of mind, such that ceasing use would feel like some kind of cognitive disorder.

I suppose LLMs are especially likely to plagiarize authors directly back to them because the words and style in authors’ prompts can’t help but move the LLM close to their work in vector space.
