I hold firm to the idea that new people are learning old information for the first time all the time, and it’s normal not to know things. If you’re a journalist (lmao with a Substack, no less) pretending the NYT is fair and balanced about trans people, you’re being malicious. Nobody is that stupid.

My first year seminar was reading the New York Times and I got an A on the reading section really early on cos I found something that pissed me off every day and the professor said if you got a letter in, automatic A. I was the first? I still kept reading until about ten fifteen years ago. They suck
