City of Toronto

Thank you to everyone who worked during advance voting and election day! There were close to 10,000 election officials at more than 1,350 voting places today supporting Toronto’s 2026 municipal election. Thank you for helping your community vote and for supporting democracy!

well said, having said that, there are no results posted as of 8:53pm on a system that should have reported full results by 8:30 at the latest.

The polls had to stay open later because of lineups so counting was delayed (if you are in line at 8pm, you are still guaranteed to vote).
