We have a secure safe banking system. Why would you want people that are uneducated about digital currency to start getting involved with that? Very intelligent people in this world have no clue how to buy and sell crypto.

Because somebody out there is giving you (in this case, the perennially ridiculous Tim Scott) a big fat incentive to make it sound like a good deal. Might be trickier to follow the money than it used to be, but I’m sure he’s taking a cut from someone.
