19 years ago - after telling them I thought we should stay friends - I took my husband on our first date to see Grant Morrison, Mike Mignola, Jonathan Lethem and Tim Kring at the New Yorker festival. Only problem? I never told them it was a date. Once I planted one on them they figured it out.
