Our broadband provider says they can offer 10Gbps but if I upgrade all our networking equipment it's apparently going to cost an extra 2-4 watts PER PORT used vs 2.5Gbps 🤯

I really don’t see the need for more than 1Gb. Wireless is trash, and getting cable run in the existing work is a helluva lot of work or currency units. So can’t even fully utilize my 1Gb service.
