⚙️🦀🥝 What's Rust Forge Conf 2025? I'm glad you asked! p.s. Engagement really helps. Replies, likes and/or share to receive a discount code via DM.

The Rust programming language has been growing exponentially worldwide for over a decade. It’s been so successful that it’s now within every computer running Android, Linux or Windows. But there's no local event for Australia or New Zealand...

... so let's create an event that brings in community leaders from around the world to share how to use it to build world-changing software that's reliable, secure and energy efficient.

Here's the event's schedule at a glance. As you can see, you can decide how much you would like to participate. Perhaps you might like to just attend the conference, which is 2 days. If you're from out of town though, there will be activities for you the whole week!

Some speakers you'll know well, such as Steve Klabnik, now at Oxide. Co-author of the first edition of "The Book", Steve was instrumental in creating a conscious culture within the Rust community. It demonstrated that open source could be better.

There also many incredible, yet less prominent speakers. For example David Lattimore wrote the Jupyter Kernel for Rust, the cackle build hardening system and is now developing a linker to speed up all builds on Linux.

But this isn't just a technical talk. We're here to celebrate creativity. We have talks that to teach you how to control LED lights, drive touchscreens to create your own smart watch, make create music with code and visualise networks.

But we shouldn't forget people using Rust to get paid. There will be of time spent on using Rust on the job. Whether you're interested in semantic versioning, supply chain security, using Rust at a startup or improving you're build speed - there's plenty of good content for you.

It's not just interesting speakers that you'll meet though. We're creating a worldwide network. Here are the countries of people who are flying in to attend the event (I know - I sent created the invitation letters to support their visitor visa applications)
