We didn't worship him, of course. He got kicked out of grade school for his responses to honest feedback. Other NYers give it, expect it, see it as fyi & shape up in response. Because we as a culture have put the idea of innovation on a pedestal and treat the concept of maintenance as very low status. So the fixing is treating as someone else’s problem. The clean up is treated as less valuable than the moving fast through things

Or any acknowledgement that "things" often means "people"
