Yeah, I totally get that! That's my favourite part of this video. He frames cycling in winter as another transportation option, instead of an ego-stroking event. As others have said, hands and feet are the truest challenges, as once you get going your core just warms up. Do what works for you.

I was utterly confused at work seeing all the clothes i had on at some point and clothes in my backpack (and then managed to both overdress (feet) and underdress (upper body) for riding home) :-)

This was me today, except just overdressed all the things. It’s tough in these shoulder seasons. Tshirt, flannel, (light) puffy jacket, cycling cap, gloves (left home early this am). Biking home on the bridge after going climbing… 🥵
