I'm going to spend the next two nights in a canvas tent on the Bay of Fundy. The weather will be conducive to it being a cozy rather than adventurous weekend. What book should I read? I speculative fiction generally. Not really a high fantasy reader, though. #booksky

I have not! I appreciate Can-con, and I consider horror to fall under the spec fiction banner generally. Will take a peek. Any titles you'd recommend to begin with?

Troop is one of my favourite horror novels I’ve read in the last few years. It’s a bit gross, but nothing crazy. It was recommended to me by a friend here, I don’t even know it was Canadian, let alone from the maritimes, until I read it.
