Gotta love Amazon. I ordered something pricy (RTX 9070 Ti + some other stuff) from a computer with an IP I've used for years, but this time to the address of a colleague. A few hours after ordering they cancelled that order, forced a PW reset and wiped the stored credit card data from my account...

I guess it kind of makes sense if such an order gets flagged as suspicious (different delivery country + newly added address), but they even sent some "order verification" link where I could select that I recognize the order.

But what I don't get is why they don't just freeze the order until confirmation, and then continue processing it. I ofc resubmitted the order, so I'm curious to see if it trips some shit again or if it'll go through this time..
