I'm all for de-consolidation, but to cut loose fading cable networks and Fandango doesn't inspire much confidence in the forthcoming company... Will it even have a production arm big enough to create its own original programming?

The article didn't mention the local Sports entities, like NBC Sports Bay Area. Are those being kept under the main umbrella, or are they being spun off to SpinCo as well? I believe there's only like 4 left (New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Bay Area.. oh and 'California').

I'm guessing, as NBC Sports Regional Networks falls under NBCUniversal, that it may go with Spin? A lot of the national sports replays happen on Peacock, so seems like a fair assumption. 🤷‍♂️ It'll be interesting how they handle splitting up stuff like the Olympic broadcast in the future
