I really want to use this app more, but for the better part of the last decade I've basically only used Twitter for news aggregation, and the fact of the matter is that Bluesky doesn't really come close to me for that. Even all the "feeds" are just cluttered with random people trying to get noticed.

I want snippets of news about world events or sports, I don't want 20 people plugging their podcasts about world events or sports.

A friend of mine found an extension you can use on your Twitter following list that matches them up with Bluesky accounts, and that helped me find a handful, but I think the amateurish feel of this platform keeps a lot of bigger official accounts away.

News is pretty well represented, I can make what I feel is a decent news feed, but sports and video games are basically non-existent, which is not a big deal to some, but it's like 80% of my personal Twitter use.
