This is great! Is there any substantive feedback on the closures proposal? I keep finding more and more benefits of the GNU implementation (with heap trampolines) but your proposal would be even better - an enormous leap forward.

It looks like they might try to get Local Functions first, but I haven't really pushed my proposal forward anymore yet. I need to write a new version and write another presentation to talk about it quickly.
