Luckily, no Venezuelan actor is bound by any "property rights" or "obligations" that derive from the Trump administration's theft and coercion. I hope corporate interests take this to heart before relying on such things. They cannot rightly complain when the Venezuelans retake their property.

What are the odds, though, that their propagandists and minions in US government will complain loudly if the Venezuelans ever attempt to exercise their sovereignity - even under a non-Trumpist regime?

The New World, including the US, has been a Kleptocracy from the start. The root cause of the American Revolution, for example, was disagreement between English and Colonial investors over who would own and control the land and resources of the continent.
