Refuse to subscribe to the Atlantic, but if the story doesn't note it, this is a pissing match between factions of the Dem party. One, led by Jon Tester, supports the Independent, Seth Bodnar. The other, much smaller, one, led by Brian Schweitzer, supports Bankhead because it dislikes Tester.

When I was younger, I was like this. If I felt pushed, I dug in my heels. Now I am older and I realize I was, in many instances, foolish. If Alani does not drop out, she will not look back fondly on her decision when she is my age.
