I am so inclined to make some sort of metaphorical reference to this,. but it is its own metaphor: Please do not upload books scanned by the Internet Archive to the Internet Archive. A surprising number of people are doing this! You're literally wasting hardware and money at the joint!

What kills me is some of them are writing grandiose "here's a pile of books I've painstakingly compiled" Yes, yes. You compiled them from the place you're uploading them to. You are a human USB stick. The majesty of it overwhelms.
