for real I specially like the detail that back dashing and sliding is on the same button since I've been playing the Prince of Persia metroidvania recently, so my muscular memory feels right at home

i haven't played that one,,, but i adjusted pretty quick i REALLY like the backdash. i like that you can jump cancel it during the fast part to preserve your momentum and zip all over the place the fastest way to move is some weird backdash tech, it's officially a REAL Castlevania game, we're back

imo, Aria of Sorrow! the new game will probably also be an excellent starting point but it's gonna feel absolutely nothing like any of the other games
