Quite the opposite. From day 1 the Obama administration took a White House centered approach (thank you Rahm E). Unlike Biden's administration, I can't name a person on Obama's team who supported an activist constituency. "Vote" only, was the message.

And the second great recession is coming soon. People forget about the 2007 oil shock that caused people to be unable to pay rents, which caused foreclosures, and so on. This time, however, we wasted 25 trillion since then on funneling wealth to the billionaire class.
