How does the new thread numbering system deal with multiple same-author replies, like

OK so it seems like the first post gets the number. It's a really cool feature IMO, obvious in hindsight.

yep all three posts were numbered as a thread. Which is good because when I’m on DeckBlue that’s the only way to make a thread.
