Figure I should do a little who I am thread. Hi, I’m Synchronized. My only claim to “fame” (if you can call it that) was long ago, in another life (2008ish), I co-hosted & edited a moderately popular podcast called the GamerCast Network: Video Game Show. https://sync76.link/gcnvgs

I don’t recommend listening, all the material is dated & our listeners often described us as an audio train wreck, though in a good way. If you were a fan, sorry, we just kinda stopped due to “life.” And no, we’re not doing more.

Other than that, I have a MS in Computer Science from UNC Chapel Hill. I just quit my job of 13 years at UNM’s CTSC to spend more time with my 3 kids, #indoorclimbing more, & do my own projects in the "Land of Enchantment," i.e. Albuquerque, NM.

My username, Synchronized, came from early Counter-Strike, late 1990s. Me and my buddy played on servers with stats tracked by name. I needed a unique name. I opened a Java programming book to the index & put my finger on a random line. It pointed at the word “Synchronized” and here we are.
