I hear Americans laugh at Europe and bureaucracy but man I love living in country where government has up-to-date digital registry of citizens and permanent residents, builds voters lists automatically and everyone is issued a national ID so we don’t need to argue how to prove eligibility to vote.

Same here ... For now, I intend to attend as many protests as I physically can, but I avoid negative, "dooms-day" news. I like political analysts that provide guidance as to how to stop this madness. I found a few meditation videos on YouTube that help me get back to sleep.

I've been watching family members and fellow veterans claim "both sides do this" about everything going down right now. And yeah white, middle to upper class, never had to worry about their next meal or paycheck. Just as selfish and delusional Chump, himself!

I'm an American who is also a citizen of this pale blue dot. I feel we are all trapped on this marble in space and must make the best of it together. These borders and societal restraints were invented long before I was born.

Those guys in El Salvador did not get due process. Some believe that doesn't affect them. Objectively it means those who did that to them can also do that to us. So we're all prisoners. Just not in physical chains and bars. Yet!
