Took a class this evening on using underglazes to paint mushrooms onto ceramics. It was my first time intentionally layering underglazes to achieve some colour theory effects I’ve been meaning to try. The true test will be seeing what the colours look like after coming out of the kiln.

Same! Unfortunately for me, the piece will be fired based on a very busy studio schedule that I have no control over, so it may be weeks of waiting. 😭

I've tried. I've got another 36 of my companion ghosts I want them to kiln fire but the studio doesn't have the kiln space; they only fire what is made in their workshops as they can. For now, I'm selling my stained glass pieces (straithelaboratories.etsy.com) so I can eventually buy my own kiln. ☺️
