it also links into a culture that applies the protestant work ethic to transitioning and ascribes any trans woman who don't look cisgender to a lack of effort and therefore at blame for her own oppression it doesn't matter if she's been on hormones or has had surgery she still clearly isn't trying

the most hated trans women on tiktok are the clocky bricks who refuse to know their place the ones who take up space who refuse to allow others to misgender them who refuse to be a shrinking violet any other reason given for hating them is merely a post-hoc rationalisation for transphobic biases
