As educators, we carry a responsibility to continue learning, to teach truthfully, and to create spaces where Indigenous voices, perspectives, and ways of knowing are respected and reflected.

This day is both a celebration and a call to action—one that asks us to deepen our commitment to reconciliation in our classrooms, schools, and communities. We encourage all educators to take time today to learn, reflect, and engage with Indigenous knowledge in meaningful and respectful ways.
